MU is considered to be among the top engineering colleges in Hyderabad and even in India, as it grooms the New Engineers of the future. MU follows a paradigm that transcends the conventional walls between academia-industry and theory-practice to usher in fresh ideas and deeper understanding.

MU offers undergraduate courses in seven disciplines: B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Civil Engineering (CE), Computation & Mathematics (CM), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Computer Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME).

The B.Tech curriculum is based on a core programme in Basic Sciences (47 credits), Basic Engineering (28 credits), Humanities, Social and Creative Sciences (15 credits), Enterprise Sciences (10 credits).

The curriculum aims at providing the students with:

1. A basic knowledge of the scientific-technological-social-business environment they are going to work in as practitioners.
2. Methods and skills for developing analytical and critical thinking, experimental approaches, project management and communication.


The B.Tech degree is awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU)- Hyderabad for the four year engineering course. Proposals have been made to provide students the option of continuing their education for the fifth year for which there would be recognition from French Statutory bodies.
