The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has approved MEC's request to establish an ASCE student chapter at MEC, Hyderabad. MEC has received the approval letter and Charter Certificate. This makes the MEC Student Chapter the only recognized chapter by ASCE in Hyderabad.

With the establishment of this chapter, MEC students will get exposure to the full range of ASCE activities in the form of memberships, access to workshops and conferences organized by ASCE.
