Dr. Anil Annadi is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Mahindra University École Centrale School of Engineering. He did his Ph.D. in Physics from National University of Singapore, Singapore. Prior to joining MU, he worked as an Assistant Professor, School of Advanced Sciences, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India. His research interests are Condensed Matter Physics (Experimental): Complex oxides and semiconductors for solid state electronics.
Research Interests:
Condensed Matter Physics (Experimental): Complex oxides and semiconductors for solid state electronics
Designing new functional oxide and nitride-based material systems for low power and energy applications, such as spin-charge devices, and non-volatile memory. Exploring interfaces/surfaces to create novel phenomena through coupling of spin, charge and lattice degrees of freedom. He also has strong interest in exploring exotic phases such as superconductivity and quantum transport at low dimensional devices through electrostatic gating and implementation of their device concepts. Materials of interest are correlated systems, magneto electric and phase transition materials.
