Dr. Bhuvaneswari Gurumoorthy is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Mahindra University École Centrale School of Engineering. She received Ph.D. in Microprocessor Control of Power Electronics & Drives from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India in 1992. Prior to joining MU, she worked as a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
