Nagaiah Chamakuri Associate Professor Department of Mathematics

Dr. Nagaiah Chamakuri is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at MEC in the School of Natural Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, from Institute of Analysis and Numerics, Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg, Germany.

His research record includes 21 publications & 4 articles. He has been involved in 39 conferences/workshops and delivered guest lectures at international universities on numerous occasions. His areas of research include optimization and numerical analysis of multiphysics problems, partial differential equations (PDEs) constrained optimization with emphasis on multiscale modeling and computational mathematics, optimal control of reaction-diffusion systems in cardiac electrophysiology, adaptive FEM simulation of calcium dynamics, and adaptive numerical simulation of reaction-diffusion systems.
