    Current Research Interests:

    1. Tribological behavior of Ti-based alloys (Ti-6Al4-V) for Strategic Aerospace Applications.
    2. Oxide thin films: Role of Interfaces in the performance of Oxide Thin Film Devices.
    3. Development of prototype high field (5T) pulsed magnet.

    Past Research Experience 

    Post-Doctoral: Growth and characterization of complex oxide epitaxial and polycrystalline thin films of functional materials, concentrating on ferroelectric properties. Served as Pulsed Laser Deposition laboratory in-charge and as coordinator of scanning probe microscopy laboratory. Worked on STM Nanostructuring of oxide thin films and PiezoresponseForce Microscopy for nanoscaleferroelectric characterization.
    Doctoral: Designed in-house pulsed laser ablation system and successfully grew two-component perovskite superlattices. Actively commissioned Molecular Beam Epitaxial growth facility. Worked collaboratively on ZnO based materials for FET applications.
    MSc(Engg): 1/f NoiseMeasurement and Transport in GaAs basedheterojunction solarcell structures.
