Dr. Saladi Subbarao is an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Department in Mahindra École Centrale College of Engineering.

Subbarao did his Ph.D. in Transportation Planning from IIT Bombay. Before joining MEC, he was an Associate Professor in VIT University, Vellore teaching courses related to transportation engineering like Highway engineering, Transportation engineering, Transportation planning and management, Surveying, Strength of materials, Construction materials and techniques.

His core areas of expertise are travel demand modeling, Travel survey design and analysis, Choice modeling, Travel behaviour, Activity based modeling, GIS applications in transportation, Public transport systems.
