Subbarao Boddu is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering department at Mahindra École Centrale College of Engineering.

    • Developed new inter cell interference mitigation schemes in OFDMA cellular networks for the project sponsored by Dept. of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India, while carrying out the research work at IIT Kharagpur
    • Test and develop virtual labs-5: “Fading channels and mobile communication” project sponsored by MHRD, New Delhi undertaken by G S Sanyal School of Telecommunications, IIT Kharagpur from Jan. 2013 to Dec. 2013
    • Performed theoretical and simulation studies on Radio Resource and Interference Management techniques, and developed a system level simulator for both OFDMA (Downlink) and SC-FDMA (Uplink) cellular networks
    • Developed “Link Level and System Level Simulators” for OFDMA based cellular networks
    • Performed analytical studies on Radio Protocols such as MAC, RLC and RRC on UE and eNodeB in LTE architecture 
    • Experience on USRP with SDR systems implementation of wireless communication systems
    • Actively involved in developing the project “Design and Development of High Data Rate Data Link using OFDM/MC-CDMA for Airborne Applications” carried out at Directorate of Flight Instrumentation (DOFI), Research Center Imarat (RCI), Defense Research and Development Organization Hyderabad, India from July 2005 – June 2006

    • Developed laboratory experiment, “Link Adaptation in Wireless Communication Systems” for PG course while doing research at GSSST, IIT Kharagpur
