MEC hosted its first plenary Research Advisory Committee Meet on 20th January 2017

The Committee comprises eminent Indian and French scientists, representatives of Academic Institutions, Funding Agencies, Industry and the French Embassy. The objective of this committee is to evaluate the Research activities of MEC, and help design the research strategy and related activities as per international standards and the needs of industry.

For this first meeting, all the members were present to engage in the development of the Research program of MEC. After the initial welcome address by Prof. R. Shrivastava, Director of MEC, the members of the committee visited the new research laboratories and inspected the most recently installed equipment before sitting down to discuss about the future strategy of Research.

The next meeting would be organized during the first semester of next academic year.
